The Rippling Effect.

          Now comes the passing on the news phase. I know, my best mate knows, my mum knows, my sister knows. That's the important people. Now there's the others that should know that I couldn't get in touch with right away or never thought of until I got over it all.

          So, first there was Josslyn. She took it well. I don't know if she's told her family yet
     I told Arlene, I don't even remember texting her by the way, I just know I did. I must have text her while I was in Nicole's because I discovered it the next day with a time stamp of around half past 11. Arlene is my ex boyfriend's Mum. I guess I must have felt like I should tell her because i last spoke to her on the Tuesday during the day. She wasn't even aware I'd need another one so I guess Lewis really didn't speak to his Mum much about that part of my life.
     I told Jan Robertson or 'Jan Next Door' as she is often referred to because her and her husband lived next door to us since before we moved in and when they split up a few years ago they moved away. But they were like surrogate grandparents to us. They used to come into ours in their jammies on Christmas Day and watch us open our presents, we used to go to theirs on Halloween to show them our costumes before we went Trick or Treating. I saw her in the street so I thought "I hardly ever see Jan now, she's always away on holiday or running about mad so I better tell her." Anyway, she seemed worried but fine. She told me to keep her up to date. I will.
     Now there is one person I am worried about, Beth.
Remember I mentioned my Mum's best friend Beth? Well she lives in America and has done since she was 18 years old, but her and my Mum grew up together and remain at ages 46ish best pals. Due to the distance and time difference my Mum was left to message Beth on facebook. That was the day after I found out so it's been a week. We've heard nothing. Mum said she knew they were going on holiday in October so this might be when but Beth was on facebook last night, albeit for a split second but she hasn't responded to the email my Mum sent her or mine. i'm worried she will see it and not be able to get a hold of us due to the time difference and freak out.
