That's the Breaks...
So I got a phone call not 15 minutes ago. It wasn't one I was expecting and I should have expected it because that is just my luck. It was a woman at the Golden Jubilee Hospital saying that due to emergencies and a shortage in beds in ICU my surgery has been cancelled.
Instead of having the operation on the 18th of March I've been pushed back to checking in on the 7th of April. Needless to say I am upset. My whole life just seems to be a series of stalls and waiting. But being upset won't help. Being upset will just put more stress on me that I already have going on and after I've been upset the problem will still be there and need to be dealt with.
So, now I've got just over 3 weeks to prepare for it all instead of 3 days. I just hope I don't get much worse in that time. But either way... I am on my way to buy food. Lots of food.
